amazing airbnb. had all the amenities you could ask for. very fast communication with the host. everything felt seemless. also, there was a power outage during our stay. hosts were very proactive rather than being reactive. kudos

This place is amazing I highly recommend it!

During the Pandemic my wife and 2 kids decided to take a much needed vacation before virtual schooling took over. Staying at this location gave us the isolation to not worry about being around too many people and their place allowed us to feel at home. After having to travel from NYC to CUN we had a rental and drove to the house. We did a little grocery shopping to have some day to day snacks and breakfast. Lupita was welcoming every time she reached out to check on our arrival. Franky was nice and helped us get directed to the house with a walkthrough. I am glad we were able to schedule a chef for our first day dinner as after traveling during the day, no one was in the mood to cook. I would I would recommend everyone experience this. I ordered off the traditional menu but they can tailor to your specifications. The head chef and his helper were extremely pleasant and all the food was delicious. Staying at the house for 6 days we got to enjoy the pool each day. Usually the kids enjoyed a morning swim then an afternoon one once we came back from activities and maybe the occasional night time as well. Make sure you have bug spray as the mosquitos in Mexico are plentiful. The kids enjoyed youtube on the tv and we mainly played music off the blue tooth. We look forward to coming back when we can get some more time away.

This house was great! 7 friends and I stayed here for a long weekend, and it had everything we needed with plenty of room for everyone. We took full advantage of the pool out back and had such a fun time. It is in a remote location, about a 10-15 minute drive from Tulum and the beach, but the owners provided us with taxi drivers numbers, which was so helpful! We also took full advantage of the bikes provided and biked into town several times. I definitely recommend that! The owners David and Lupita were always available and quick to respond whenever we needed anything, and the property manager Franky who is in town was also amazing and made sure we were all taken care of. 10/10 would recommend!

We journeyed to Tulum with five adult travelers. We were a mix of family and a friend (ok, she is family too). We met Franky in the parking lot of a nice little market and he guided us to the house on his scooter as we followed in our rented van. We stopped first at a grocery store to stock up for the trip including items to grill. We arrived at night so it was dark and a little hard to see but it helped to follow his tail lights over the bumpy, dirt road to the house. It was so quiet and peaceful once we arrived and the house was magical with all the windows, the lights and the reflection off the pool. We quickly settled in and made the house our home away from home. There are three nicely appointed bedrooms so we all had our own space to relax and recharge. We enjoyed the pool area. It was too chilly to swim but we put our feet in the pool and tried to jump in a couple of times but chickened out! It is winter, ya'll, but we were able to swim at the beach and also at a cave or cenote that our host recommended. Snorkeling was the highlight for me as it was my first time and in a cave to boot! We always came home each night to this lovely home to cook and have a nice dinner, hot shower and time to restore ourselves for our next day's sightseeing experience. There is an outdoor grill so bring charcoal and lighter fluid. We did yoga on the beach, swam in the cenotes, toured the Ruins (go early my friends to avoid the crowds, real early... like 8 a.m.) explored the public beach, the park beach and the private beach where all the hotels were located. All were different but uniquely fun in their own way. Try to snag a nice lounger and stay a while to really get the full experience of beach life. We drove in Mexico for the first time which was empowering for my daughter and I. I think having a car would be important if you stayed at this AirBnB. We liked that it is was private, updated, clean and so different than our little adobe back in the Fort. And we were not surrounded by tourists every minute of the day. It was our wonderful recluse at the end of a packed adventure-filled day. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful time!

We stayed here with a group of 10, and it was excellent! The house is beautiful and spacious and was more than accommodating. The hosts were great. David and Lupita have a local property manager, Franky, who was extremely helpful. He showed us the place when we arrived, then later in our stay delivered water and toilet paper when we were low on those items. He was available, communicative, and responsive to our needs. David and Lupita were gracious and thoughtful, and communicated well with us before, during, and even after our stay. We highly recommend their home!

David’s place was absolutely wonderful! We had the best time in Tulum thanks to him and Lupita! They were extremely responsive and very helpful with recommendations. We read in the reviews that the location was new and there were still a lot of places under construction but we didn’t find this to be an inconvenience at all! We rented a moped and got all around town and tulum beach just fine. This is one of the best vacations ever and we can’t wait to visit again!

David and Lupita are great hosts and their home is gorgeous! My guests and I felt like we were in paradise and loved all the details that were put in both the indoor and outdoor decor. David and Lupita made check in very easy and they helped us with the transportation to get to the house. They gave great recommendations for sight seeing, places to eat and where to go for Tulum nightlife experience. The taxi company that they recommended was great! They were punctual every time they came to pick us up and also gave great recommendations. We absolutely loved staying at Mezo Maya and the hospitality. We will definitely be coming back!

My husband, two grown sons and I just got back from an amazing stay at David and Lupita's beautiful home. It was a wonderful experience, from start to finish. The spacious home gave us plenty of places to hang out together (our favorite was the pool!), while also giving everyone a place to have some alone time. The home was clean and had every amenity we could think of. Other than the amazing amenities, we loved how responsive David, Lupita and their team in Tulum were. They were always available to help with arrangements or any requests we had. The wonderful groundskeeper Franky even brought us flan one night!! Claudio was an excellent source of information and a dependable driver when we needed him. As others have mentioned, the area is still being developed and the roads are not paved, so you will need a sturdy vehicle. For us, this was a very minor inconvenience. We highly recommend staying at Meso Maya if you are thinking about staying in Tulum!!

David’s place is a fantastic home that has amazing attention and great amenities. You will not regret your stay!
